Newly branded firm Foundever™ opens PH’s 1st hub in Cebu City; to add 2,400 seats
BUSINESS process management firm Foundever™ (formerly Sitel Group) will add 2,400 professionals to its workforce in Cebu City in the first half of the year as it espouses a hybrid work setup.
This was announced on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the launching of the company’s third location in Cebu and the first Foundever™ hub in the Philippines located in Robinsons Cybergate Galleria Cebu.
The new hires will fill in positions for several industries including customer service, technical and telecommunications support, healthcare services, financial and banking services, and travel under a hybrid work setup.
“As a company that supports omnichannel communication, we will be continuously seeking to hire voice, email, and chat associates to ensure our customers receive the best possible service. We believe these diverse roles will provide exciting opportunities for local professionals looking to join the Foundever™ family and contribute to our growth and success,” said Foundever™ vice president for Global Associate Experience Dorothee Dalaine.
Foundever™ already has 7,000 employees in Cebu across its sites– Synergies IT Center on F. Cabahug St., Cebu City and Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
The new hub, according to John Sneed, general manager for Foundever™ in Manila and Cebu, is already a ready hybrid workspace.
“This is a unique hub as it is designed for a hybrid work environment—allowing job opportunities not just within Cebu City, but in the nearby regions as well,” he said. “With our new Foundever™ hub, we’re looking forward to further tapping into the exceptional talents in the region so we can deliver even higher levels of productivity and customer experience for the clients we work with across the globe.”
The new hub is the first in the world under the Foundever™ name, following the rebrand as a result of the acquisition of Sitel in 2015 by Groupe Acticall and most recently with the acquisition of Sykes Enterprises Inc. in 2021. These developments, according to the company, have solidified its place as one of the top three customer experience (CX) providers in the world. In the Philippines, the acquisition of Sykes created a mutual employment advantage between the two companies and saw the number of Foundever™ associates across the country grow to over 40,000.
On March 1, Sitel rebranded itself to Foundever™ to reflect the company’s commitment to innovation, dynamism and best-in-class CX delivery.
“‘Found’ represents our constant curiosity to innovate and create grounded solutions, and ‘ever’ signals our agility and drive to continuously adapt to the changing needs of the market and our clients,” noted Cecile May-Moreno Venancio, senior marketing director for Foundever™ in Asia and Pacific.
“We know it’s a complex, fast-moving and changing world and this is especially true in our world of customer experience. So, at Foundever™, we recognize that it is our job to make CX simple and to deliver great experiences for customers by building a better experience for our people,” she said.
The newly branded company assured its clients it will continue to offer the same high-quality CX solutions that Sitel Group and Sykes are known for.
“Our team remains committed to learning, designing, and integrating solutions that meet the specific needs of clients. This includes taking time to know individual cultures, values, and operational models to address unique business challenges,” said Venancio.
Foundever™ has about 170,000 employees worldwide, allowing the company to serve over 750 brands across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe.
It is supporting over nine million customer conversations every day in more than 60 languages across 45 countries.
